Age suitability
Flower Focus is intended for adults.
The app supports people changing cannabis, vaping, tobacco, or alcohol habits. Those subjects are central to the experience, even though the app approaches them through reflection and support.
Intended audience
Flower Focus is intended for people age 18 and over. It is not made for children and should not be treated as a children’s wellness app.
The app contains frequent references to alcohol, tobacco, nicotine, cannabis, cravings, and habit use because users actively choose one of those areas as their focus.
App Store age rating
Flower Focus declares frequent alcohol, tobacco, or drug-use references because those topics appear throughout onboarding, check-ins, support, and progress. The expected Apple rating is 18+ on newer rating systems and 17+ on earlier systems. The rating shown to you may differ by region, operating-system version, or App Store policy.
The app also declares health or wellness topics and limited medical or treatment information because it includes alcohol-withdrawal and crisis safety guidance. It does not provide medical treatment.
How age assurance works
Where Apple reports that an age check is legally required, Flower Focus uses Apple’s Declared Age Range capability to ask whether the user meets an age threshold of 18.
- Flower Focus does not ask for a birthdate.
- The app does not calculate or infer an exact age.
- Apple provides only the age-range information needed for the eligibility decision.
- The response and access decision are kept in memory for that session.
- Age information is not stored in the journal, Keychain, analytics, logs, or exports.
- Age information is not sent to KRFFL LLC or another third party by Flower Focus.
Eligibility outcomes
If Apple confirms an age range whose lower bound is 18 or older, the app continues normally. If Apple confirms that the range is entirely below 18, Flower Focus displays an adult-only message and does not provide access.
If a required age range is declined, unavailable, ambiguous, or cannot be checked because of an error, the app asks the user to try again. It does not guess.
Outside regulated age-assurance flows, Flower Focus does not present an additional developer-created birthdate screen.
Parents, guardians, and device controls
Parents and guardians can use Apple’s device, family, purchase, and content controls to manage access. Flower Focus does not attempt to replace those platform controls or collect information about family relationships.
Medical and crisis boundary
Flower Focus is for reflection and habit support. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, detox support, emergency care, or a replacement for professional help.
If stopping alcohol feels physically unsafe, or withdrawal symptoms feel severe, seek medical help urgently.
